An Online Executive MBA Is The Path To Corporate Management Success

An Online Executive MBA Is The Path To Corporate Management Success

With four-year college degrees becoming more the norm than the exception among business and government hires, an advanced degree, specifically the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree has become almost a requirement to ascend to the upper ranks of both the corporate and government management ladder and the stratospheric pay scales enjoyed by the top executives on Wall Street and in the world's biggest corporations. Working executives who are starting to feel the competitive pinch and who are seeing their career path beginning to narrow should consider the Executive MBA as the most effective way to get their career back on the fast track.
You should do your own research to determine which residential or online Executive MBA program would best suit your particular needs. As a primer we present below a brief description of a few of the better known Executive MBA programs available at US based business schools.
Founded in 1881 as the first dedicated business school, the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania has achieved global recognition for its MBA programs. The Wharton School offers business degrees across the business spectrum but it is perhaps best known for its international finance programs. Its 85,000 alumni represent a who's who of international business management.
The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina is perhaps best known for its hyper expensive $120,000 plus MBA program. The Duke program is truly international with regular school session held in London, St. Petersburg, New Delhi, Singapore, Shanghai and various other venues in South America. And yes, the cost of these foreign excursions is included in the tuition fees. The program is called appropriately enough, the Global Executive MBA Program. Price does not seem to be too much of an obstacle as the program regularly enrolls more than 110 students from an equal number of countries for their 15-month global executive MBA program.
The Anderson School of Management at UCLA was established in the depths of the Great Depression in 1935. The Anderson School is frequently noted for the superstar status of its MBA faculty which publishes prolifically and consults regularly with major corporations and government bodies around the world. The Anderson School enrolls more than 1,500 students in its MBA, Executive MBA and doctoral degree programs. In addition to its degree programs, it provides continuing education in business management to more than 2,000 working executives and managers. Its 35,000 alumni provide graduates with a well established network of business and government executives.

  1. There is a LOT of group work during my MBA classes which some shy people are not fan of. After working all day, the last thing they want is to meet for extra hours outside of class time, but I like this.
