Johns Hopkins University
Usually referred to as JHU, the John Hopkins University is one of the private research institutes in United States. It is located in Baltimore in the state of Maryland.
Brief Background
Founded in 1857, the university was named after the deceased donor John Hopkins and has since then has a pronounced goal of advancement of research in education. In addition the university is also known for its secular policies and sponsorship of women in the field of education. All the time, the educational institution pioneered concept of modern research in the country. It is now ranked among the top research universities across the globe.
